Trend Legend Saint Laurent Brought To Life In Biopic: Friday, June 6th 2008 - the roads of Paris were brimming with citizens, all gathered to pay their respects in the funeral of couturier Yves Saint Laurent (YSL). Saint Laurent, who expired in 2008 aged 71, ruled the international couture scene in the swinging 1960s, revolutionising women's wardrobes with a fresh androgynous style that mirrored girls's push to get a stronger social function.
